A Story of One Heroic Teacher –Ms Lau Bee Fang

In just a blink of an eye, yet another year has passed by. It may be just another normal year for one – but for Ms Lau Bee Fang – it was one unforgettable year.
Background
Ms Lau Bee Fang is a fellow teacher in Han Chiang High School with a working span of almost 12 years in this place. Throughout her years teaching in Han Chiang, there are ups and downs, lows and highs, but even so, she was able to overcome every one of them in her unique ways. She mainly teaches students in Senior 1 and 2 Additional Mathematics.
The Story
Teaching is not an easy task to do; she expresses that the problems she came across are faced by every teacher as well. Not all students come from the same background nor do they have the same personalities. Hence, to teach in one class, a teacher has to meet various kinds of students, teaching and transferring knowledge to them in a way they could understand in their own ways. To her, this was a challenge in itself. There were multiple occurrences where she felt like giving up as she came across students who have lazier personalities; putting in the effort, and pouring her heart to teach those students however due to their studying attitude, there aren’t any improvements which lets her down. Even so, she doesn’t give up on those students and continues to teach them patiently with all of her capabilities. Although she finds it very challenging, she spent her days joyful and happy as she builds up strong bonds with her students and communicates with them a lot. It is this relationship with her students that keeps her motivated and able to continue to get on with her day.
Her relationship with students has always been popular. In fact, it created some of her memorable moments in the school. She claims her best memories to be the communications and bonds with her students. Students who have graduated and was taught by her would often visit her and have reunions outside with her, recalling back to the times when they were still students. It brings them closer together and builds great memories for both the students and Ms Lau.
Rewinding to the past, when Ms Lau first arrived to teach at Han Chiang High School, she was a newcomer that was assigned to teaching a class of students from Thailand. Despite the fact that they had a language barrier, she never failed to teach them the things they needed to learn. She thrives hard and tries to learn some Thai and sign language to help students to understand better. Not only does it take time to learn, but it also takes patience, and she was one that would go to any length to be able to teach her students and help them in education.
To be a part of the Han Chiang High School committee, she’s grateful for her co-workers and to bring knowledge to students, testing various methods to make the class to be more enjoyable, and have a better and easier understanding of the class.
Though she still enjoys being a teacher, she still has a backup plan prepared in case she decides to quit. As known by all, MCO had drained a lot of our time. Nonetheless, she does not fail to be productive. During lockdown, she learnt to bake from tutorials on YouTube, sparking sparked a light in her. Her love for baking grew stronger as she continued to learn more about it, and maybe even in the future, she’ll dive into the arts of baking.
Student Remarks
Her students from SE12 and SE13 pointed out that Ms Lau’s classes are quite easy-going and fun as she treats her students like her own children and teaches at an appropriate pace without leaving anyone behind. At first look, she seems scary and intimidating; however, after they got to know her more, they found that it was easy to talk to her. She takes jokes lightly, and makes jokes in return, making her more approachable.
She takes her time to explain and gives multiple exercises which are great. If students have any questions or come across any difficulties, she would always help joyfully. Her capability and professionalism are astonishing and admirable. Her classes were so immersive that there were multiple occasions where none of them noticed class has ended already. They are incredibly appreciative and thankful to have Ms Lau as their teacher and to be able to be her students.

Words of Advice
For her students, she hopes for her students to realize what they are studying for. It is not to study for their parents, but for themselves. Students must be responsible for their own futures, for their future selves, as the saying goes, “Be willing to do what’s hard now to enjoy what is beautiful later. – Robin Sharma. ”
Being a student in this era, one should understand the economic situation the world is in. Yet, parents continue to work hard to provide their children are able to come to school. Learn the necessary knowledge and the responsibility of studying as a student, especially of the MCO, two years were wasted. Continue to thrive hard and realize the goal.
Not only did she provide advice to her students, but to teachers who would like to teach as well. To become a teacher, one needs to have a strong passion and love for teaching. Every job has its own difficulties, it is based on whether one’s preference to overcome them or not. Teachers will face a lot of challenges and difficult students, especially having to take care of a class.
Students are not the only ones learning during a lesson, the teacher is as well. The more a teacher teaches, the more experience gained, and the more a teacher grows with their students. There’s no need to be afraid to teach as long as one can devote themselves to this job.

参与第三届东盟与中国学生教育交流会 韩中生收获回忆及友情

20221128日(星期一)至122日(星期五),本校的四位学生以及一名带队老师前往泰国东盟普吉泰华学校参加第三届东盟国家与中国学生教育交流大会。他们分别是来自SE11的杨瀞涵同学、柯蕴殷同学、黎芷恩同学、来自S2的黎佩莹同学和傅元大老师。师生于1128日下午从槟城机场直飞到普吉,再由主办单位载送到普吉泰华学校。
本届交流会套用了 “德智体群美” 的教学理念设计活动,以“好人、有能力的人、团结协作的人”为标语。普吉乐善局和东盟普吉泰华学校意识到了发展教育的重要性,为了学生们可以顺利走入社会、幸福地生活,不仅要把学生培养成有智慧的人,也要成为一个好人,更要全面发展学生的能力,来适应世界的需求。泰国东盟普吉泰华学校努力营造模拟真实的环境,让学生们可以把课堂上学习的知识在实际的场景里灵活运用,同时借机鼓励学生开展跨文化、跨语言的学术交流,培养学生与时俱进的国际化视野。此外也以泰国拉玛九世皇倡导的 ”自给自足经济理念“ 为指导,引领学生进行创新、创作,并向社会展示优异作品。
参与此次交流会的包括来自缅甸及马来西亚的四所中学和泰国内地学校的13所中学,大会总计有120名学生、20名教师,以及47名泰华青年领袖。交流会进行的过程中学生都被分配到四个色队进行活动,包括红色为华文、黄色为中华、绿色为私塾、蓝色则为尚德。而每队更细分成三个小组,每组10个人。这五天内的活动包括了:
其一,中英技能交流
为的是锻炼学生的中英语言技能,累计舞台表演经验以及培养学生的集体意识,集思广益、共同规划。在各自讨论进行表演的策划后,12组各自呈现了如《家庭矛盾对孩子的影响》、《失败是最好的老师》、《回收怎么帮助地球》等的表演。表演结束后,评委团会依据各组的表现评分,颁发六个奖项,我们各自的组别也很荣幸地收获了其中的三个奖项。
其二,校外学习拓展活动
为的是让同学们增进对于普及岛的了解,锻炼学生泰语、汉语和英语的沟通技巧,同时为学生提供帮助社区、社会的平台。参观的景点如他郎路、普及泰华博物馆、普及腰果厂、奈汉沙滩、查龙寺以及神仙半岛。我们参观了许多普吉岛地标,但我们只在每个目的地平均停留了20分钟左右而已。虽然一整天间断的行程难免也让我们感到疲倦,但有机会享受到拥有浓厚的文化底蕴的景点,我们也大饱眼福了。
其三,语言与文化活动
为的是让学生们养成善于思考、逻辑分析的习惯,了解多姿多彩的文化同时进行文化的碰撞。各组通过选择自己喜欢的物品、配饰或服饰,与组员讨论协调后,再综合搭配,融合各个文化元素创造自身的服饰及节日,创建属于自己色队的节日。最终同学们的呈现包括《华文节》、《红红火火祭拜节》、《春节》、《传统节》,大家的作品都创意十足。
其四,边走边学活动
为的是让学生们具备批判思维、逻辑分析能力,进而能够独立、自由开拓新知识。同时也为学生提供学习、团队合作以及与不同文化背景的人和谐生活的机会。每组分为5人,而每组学生则需参与12个摊位的游戏活动,过程中同时有两队进行比拼,获胜队则将得到一个信封。游戏过程中同学们都其乐融融,让各国心与心的距离更靠近了一步。再者,下一个活动环节中每组学生对信封中的主题进行分析并在海报上设计思维导图,最终选派每组选派代表用双语在舞台上展示小组成果。
其五,美学活动
为的是与会学生积累美术、音乐、表演以及体育等方面的进行,并在学习过程中运用泰、中、英三语沟通。学生都跟自己的意愿选择想要学的活动,分别有中国书法、中国剪纸、中国折纸、绘画、篮球、乒乓球、游泳、武术,戏剧及歌唱等等。我们在这几天都尝试了武术、绘画和英文唱歌的活动,过程中都有专业的指导老师为我们指引方向,充分地搭建了施展才华的舞台。
可惜的是,由于行程问题,我们无法参与到最后一天的活动成果展,在星期五一早便踏上归途了。在我们前往机场之前,我们被大会做了简单的采访,与其他同学和新结交的朋友纷纷道别,拍照和交换纪念品。天下无不散筵席,世界这么大,是缘分让我们相遇,同时感谢校方给予我们这个宝贵的机会;亦感谢主办方的热心招待及悉心照料。我们带着收获的回忆及友情,期待着下一次的 “再见”。

越努力越幸运 努力必有成果

1112日,武术俱乐部的学生们参加了在Dewan Silat MSNPP举办的MSSPP武术比赛。 该比赛大约有一百名来自不同学校与年龄段的参赛者。其中,韩江中学的两位参赛者——来自JSE13的许展铨和来自J13的哈妮在比赛中都双双取得了优异的成绩。
来自JSE13的许展铨在采访中表示他对自己的成绩没有感到很意外,在他的预期之中。 他还指出该比赛并不如他想象中的具有挑战性,因为在他年龄段的竞争对手并不多。 他透露道,从9岁开始偶尔参加武术俱乐部和国家训练,并一直坚持到今天。许同学认为武术是一项极具挑战性和难度性的运动,训练时一定会面对挫折与困难。 因此,他向那些有兴趣从事这项运动的同学透露道,一定要有意愿和决心,自律,学会克服一路上的各种障碍。另外,许同学也非常感谢父母给予他的所有鼓励与支持,也感谢他的教练不断地帮助他。
来自J13的哈妮在采访中提出,她是因父母的缘故在七岁时开始接触到武术并对武术这项运动感兴趣。 虽然她的训练时间长达六小时,但是训练结束后她会准时复习,合理安排学习与训练时间。 因此,她很庆幸自己的努力终有了回报。她说道,当她看到其他竞争对手时,会感到紧张,但她通过一些呼吸练习让思绪平静下来,缓解紧张和焦虑的情绪。同时,哈尼同学指出,如果要参加这项运动,一定要认真对待并努力训练,即使输了比赛也不要轻易放弃。她透露,成功的秘诀只有坚持到底和永不放弃,因为你不放弃还有机会,可放弃却连机会都没有了。
在他们身上能看到如此坚定的决心和努力,在年轻学员中已属少见。不要小看自己的潜力,低估自己的未来。相信他们仍旧会砥砺前行,为更美好的未来奋斗。
The MSSPP Wushu competition at Dewan Silat MSNPP captivated the hearts of a handful of students from the martial arts club of HCHS. There were at least a hundred competitors in total ranging from different schools and ages. Incredibly, two of our school’s participants — Skyler Khor Zhan Quan from JSE13 and Hanny Syaqiera from J13 came back proudly with flying colours.
Skyler
Skyler Khor, a top student in JSE13, had gotten first and runner-up in the MSSPP Wushu competition. Surprisingly, despite being excellent and achieving proficient sportsmanship, he also excels in academics and is the pride of the school. As he holds high expectations for himself, he stated that he wasn’t content or disappointed with the result. Not only so, but he also pointed out that it wasn’t as challenging as he had preassumed because there weren’t as many competitors in his age group as he would’ve expected. Actively, he occasionally joins club and state training since the age of nine and has kept it up to this day. He admitted that there were hardships and frustrations along his journey as martial arts is highly challenging and arduous but although so, but he overcame it with his strong determination, will and strong love for martial arts and never had the thought to give up. When there’s a will, there’s a way.
Therefore, he advises the students who are interested to take up this sport seriously to build up self-discipline and have the willingness and determination to be able to learn to go through and overcome various kinds of obstacles along the way. Despite being grateful to his parents for providing him with the necessities such as transportation and money to be able to continue his love for martial arts and having such supportive parents, he would also like to express his gratitude to his coach for providing the best training, motivation and mental strength that made him the athlete he is today. Without their help, he wouldn’t have been able to be the shining star he is at this day, and his rising athlete career for the future.
Hanny
Since the age of 7, Hanny had begun to train and learn martial arts as it was when she was influenced by her parents. In her everyday routine, her training goes up to six hours and she punctually revises her studies after training to balance her time well. Not only does she work hard for her dream, but she also occasionally maintains her school studies. Hence, she is very thankful for the fact that her hard work has finally paid off, making herself proud.
Although she was quite nervous about the competition when she first had a glance at other competitive opponents, she managed to calm herself down by doing some breathing exercises and having mentally supported by supportive comments and her parents. Hanny advises the students to take this sport seriously if they were to join it and don’t give up easily even if they lost a competition. Things may not be easy as it seems at first but as long as they strive their hardest and keep on the burning passion, it will get easier in the future.
To be able to see such determination and hard work truly is an eye opener as they are not common to find in young students these days; the future of martial arts is in solid hands. Nevertheless, they will continue to strive hard and build themselves for a better future.

秉持教育初心 吴柔涵老師照亮学生路

教师是个平凡的称谓,却也象征着一生不平凡的使命。十年以来,吴柔涵老师担起这份使命,脚踏实地,秉持初心,照亮了无数个人生。
于今年,我校的IGCSE科学主任吴柔涵老师,获得董总和台湾侨委会颁发的10年独中教师长期服务奖。
2012年,吴老师经友人介绍下,踏入韩江中学,开始教学生涯。不知不觉,就在这个大家庭待了10年。
教育好学生就是目的。因此她十分感谢董总和台湾侨委会给予这个奖项,肯定她多年的付出。
除了教导课堂上的知识,她也传授待人接物,处事态度等给学生。与学生进行有效沟通,聆听学生们的看法能让她的教学效果越来越好。老师是学生们的模范,因此身为一名老师以身作则,在处事方面保持严谨的态度,不马虎。
她希望学生们可以从她身上获益。但是,无论如何,教师与学生之间要有一个界限。这样学生就会懂得尊敬老师,同时老师也可以把知识经验教授给学生,而不仅是老师单方面的努力而已。
事业和休闲时间是要区分出来的,上班时,吴老师会认真工作;下班后会安排娱乐活动及运动,因为教师行业会面对很多压力,所以需要在休息时候好好充电,释放自己。
教学过程中的挫折如学生的学习态度会让她感到头疼不已。Z世代的孩子需要她在教学方面更有创意,花心思在改良自己的教学方式。
吴柔涵老师虽然也会遇到很多挑战,但还会继续努力,把孩子们都教育好,让他们拥有一个光明的未来。同学也不要因成绩在努力后仍没有起色而感到绝望,打击自己,因为成绩只是一部分。学生们可以互相帮助,互相学习。

2022运动会

本校一年一度的运动会因冠病疫情疫情而停辦两年,今年终于有幸能在127日(星期三)阳光明媚的早上进行。1965名穿运动制服的各班級学生,随着激昂的铜管乐队的伴奏下,昂首闊步齐聚在绿油油的大草場上,所有运动健将充满斗志地参加运动会的各项赛事,出席嘉宾及董事会代表也到场给予学校及运动员最热情洋溢的支持与鼓励。
本届运动会由本校董事會副总务拿督陈树楠致辞及開幕。他致辞时表示本校的教学方针,即“德、智、体、群、美”中每个方针都是为培养人才时所需的因素,其中“体”也是在推广素质教育时的其中一个重要的因素,缺一不可。他叮咛学生学习固然重要,但缺少了健强的体魄,我们也无法达成高效率地吸收知识。故拥有一个健康的身体,才会使我们能够精神抖擞地从事我们每一日的活动。通过运动,除了能够从晒太阳下摄取维他命D,也能够让我们振作起精神,迎接接下来的挑战。所以这届运动会的举办,也正是为了播种素质教育的种子,以发掘、栽培及加强本校的运动员,为韩江、槟州、甚至是国家孕育未来优秀的运动健将。
拿督强调所谓“健康是人生的第一财富”,如今社会不仅仅要求一个人要拥有其专业 的知识与技能、实践的能力与创新的精神之外,也需要拥有一个健全的人格、健壮的 身体和健康的心理。如果说人生是一棵树,健康就是这棵树的根,根深才会叶茂。没有健康的身体,荣华富贵皆烟云。所以运动会的举办,就是让每个学生能够强身健体, 培养顽强的意志力;培养团队合作、互助的精神,增强自信和自豪感,所以运动会是在我们学习生涯中不可或缺的。
拿督也表示虽然在运动会中,奋勇平博、永不言败的精神都是被强调的,但是他也希望同学们能够谨记“胜不骄、败不馁”,虽然是一场比赛,但是输赢并不代表全部,能够展现出“韩江学生是有风度的”状态,才是具有崇高的体育精神。能够如何在失败中进行自我反思与检讨;在胜利中不自傲自满,才是体育的最高精神。
随着运动员代表宣誓及本校董事會副总务拿督陈树楠宣布下,本届运动会于早上930分左右正式拉开序幕。为了让队伍更加引人注目,为队伍加油打气,各色队老师在装饰上都下了很大功夫。例如,红队头上戴着一顶圣诞帽。毕竟色队是以颜色为主。紫队伍则是在头上戴了个兔耳朵装饰。青队以叶子为材料,用线捆绑扎成装饰品戴在头上。本届运动会比赛竞争激烈、氛围紧张。全体裁判员和工作人员秉持着公平、公正的原则,对每一位运动员的付出做出正确且公正的评价与裁判,没有辜负每位运动员背后的心酸付出。运动员努力拼搏,学生们为自己的色对呐喊助威。经过角逐,最终,绿队荣获全场总冠军。亚军和季军分别是紫队和蓝队。而制服团体体操步比赛冠军则是学长团。
绿队队长罗德松同学表示他是第一次担任队长。身为队长,他平时负责帮忙老师以及管理队伍的纪律。他承认他们确实把目标锁定在冠军。当校长公布青队为总冠军时,他们异常激动和兴奋,这是出乎意料的。罗同学表示,绿队运动员会在每个星期二与星期四校后留下来大约练习一个小时半。他补充说,绿队以树叶为元素,并把叶子装饰在头上,这是老师和他二人想出的主意。而之所以使用叶子来当装饰品的材料的原因是想从现有的免费资源里寻找出制作装饰的材料。
绿色队总队长罗慧娴老师是第三次担任绿队总队长。老师表示没有想过会拿到冠军,所以她对今年的成绩感到又惊又喜。老师表示青队的口号是“go green”,并且这个词语的另一个含义是环保,所以很有意思。老师表示由于这届准备的时间不够,运动员们没足够的时间练习,留在学校的几天只能够用来筛选选手,而操步队也只有三次练习。她表示非常感谢学生的配合。由于运动会前一天下了一场暴雨,导致运动会草场非常湿润,甚至积水。老师表示当她在赛前一脚踩到湿润的草地时就开始担心运动员的安危。同时,她还表示,这届的几个运动员都怕滑倒而放下速度,有些还因冲太快而滑倒。无论是运动员奔跑还是操步员操步时都会激起水花。这也导致所有学生的鞋子在运动会后都变了颜色,从白色变成了黑色。老师说有队员告知老师如果没有拿冠军太对不起他们的鞋子了。
出席本届运动会的嘉宾尚有本校的董事会副总務黃慧雄、校長江美利、家協主席吳松文博士、署理主席李國祥博士、韓江传媒大学学院校長馬國輝博士、韓小校長李凤珠、校友會副会长譚順君與槟榔屿潮州会馆代表等。
有趣的是运动会前半夜三更的豪雨洗煉,大草场累积了不少的雨水,学生们的白鞋上都沾满了泥渍,但这也没有影响学生们的欢呼和兴奋。所幸的学生和运动员们都能够严守大会纪律、维护大会秩序、遵守竞赛条规、注重防疫,让本年运动会在一个安全、健康、文明且和谐的环境下进行,获得圆满成功。师生及出席嘉宾都度过了一个精彩、美好的一天。

从学生的角度去学习探讨 陈维娴老师融入学生的生活

本校陈维娴老师在今年荣获了本年度的董总和台湾侨委会的颁发的独中教师长期服务奖。她就像一根蜡烛,燃烧自己,照亮学生们眼前的路。她认为,获得这个奖项的的意义是董总、台湾侨委会和校方对于自己在教育界付出那么多年的一个认可。
陈老师在2016年加入韩江大家庭,担任IGCSE高数及数学科目的老师,至今执教了5年。
她说,韩江中学是一个很大规模的学校,学生的素质水平很高,因此就想要来到韩江中学把自己所知道的知识灌输给学生们。
她之前自己是补习老师,接触的是比较小型的学生,并发现到现今的学生他们所知道的事物,并没有完全地去理解。因此,她希望学生们可以在现实生活中运用在课堂上学习的知识,这样比起一直在脑海里记知识点或是背书来得更有意义 。
她自己对教学的热爱是很欣慰看到学生会向她发问题,那自己也可以从学生的角度去学习和探讨,并把知识传授给学生,让学生学起来比较有效。
她在教育界里一定会有挫折,所以要以不同的角度去面对问题,以正面的方式去解决问题,这样反而是有进步的空间。
作为老师,处理事情的态度会不一样。她感概到做为班导师会比较辛苦。由于学生的脾气和习性都比较不同。在这一方面她学了很多,要多去理解学生,以学生的角度去看待问题,与学生一起解决问题,融入他们的生活。
每个人扮演的角色都不一样。她表示老师应该灌输知识给学生,不应该以旁观者的角度去批评学生,这是老师的责任。她补充道学生也要做好自己的本职工作。
她非常享受自己的教学生涯。她说到主要是很开心看到学生对自己说,“很开心我终于明白这个题目,是因为老师您的教法让我喜欢上数学。”她也非常欣慰看到学生在课堂上纠正自己的问题和错误,与学生一起探讨新事物,共同进步。在此,她希望,学生们毕业了后,回来告诉她,您的教法让我可以在大学中成长。

陈维娴老师说到在学习中的学生们不能因为一些小事而放弃,放弃是不对的想法。当你遇见瓶颈或是不能解决的问题,可以求助朋友或是身边的人。当然,交朋友也要谨慎选择,要学会分辨黑白,并要有远见,知道这是对自己有益还是无益。她鼓励学生们加油,不要放弃,继续完成自己的目标!

维护健康网络环境 拒绝网络霸凌

为了让同学们了解网络交友的安全与危害和拒绝网络霸凌。本校与温馨苑于2022125日,上午10时至1130分在林连登礼堂举办了一场网络素养讲座。本场讲座的主讲人是吴颢哲老师。他毕业于拉曼学院的艺术与科学学士学位,并且经常到各所学校提供讲座及激励营。
网络是历史上最重要的发明之一。网络不仅能让我们获取资讯,还能让我们进行通讯。我们可以在网络上寻找资料、上网课以及阅读新闻。网络也能提供我们一个娱乐的平台。正所谓:“水能载舟,亦能覆舟”,网络除了给我们带来好处之外,也隐藏着许多危险。吴老师提出,在现今的社会,许多人经常会在自己的社交媒体账号上发布自己的去向,但是我们应该尽量避免在社交媒体上打卡签到。我们也可以把自己的社交媒体账号设定为私人账号,以确保我们的安全。
本场讲座的其中一个重点主题在于网络交友。吴导师表示,网络交友有利也有弊。网络交友可以让我们自由自在地抒发自己的意见和看法,不需要担心对方评价自己的外在条件。网络交友还可以拉近人与人之间的距离,开启一个无国界的交友管道。其实,网络交友也能认识了解自己的知心好友。但是,网络交友也会带来不少的负面影响。它会让人们过度沉浸在网络交友的情境中,这往往会让人们忽略现实生活中的人际交流,家人朋友的关系也会随着时间的催化而变淡。况且,许多不法之徒也会利用网络来诱骗感情或犯罪。
2012年就有一起因为网络交友而酿成的悲剧事故。一名谎称为妇产科医生的28岁水电工诱骗了40名少女,其中8人还因此被性侵。大多数的受害者都是通过微信认识这位网友的。在2013年,也有一名网友因为性侵不遂而杀害一名少女。许多人会误以为因为网络交友而遇害的人只有女性,但其实男性也不例外。一名男子和一名女网友在一家餐厅约会,该名女网友过后却要求男子支付高达RM4730的账单。一位16岁的男子也因为被网恋蒙蔽了双眼,离家出走,最后却被带入毒品窝。通过这些新闻,我们可以了解到网络交友其实潜在着许多有害的风险。
纵使网络交友有那么多的负面影响,人们还是非常热衷于在网络上交朋友。吴老师表示,这是因为网络交友是匿名的,可以放心地和对方聊天。网络交友也可以让我们和来自世界各地的人互动。另外,网络交友还有时空压缩性,打开手机或电脑就可以直接和对方交流。总而言之,我们应该学会正确使用网络,远离网络伤害。
本场讲座的另一个重点在于网络霸凌(Cyber-bully)。网络霸凌是通过社交媒体、即时通讯平台和游戏平台等进行的欺凌行为,恐吓或羞辱他人。吴老师提醒同学们遇到网络霸凌时,我们不应该与对方谩骂,也不要发布任何让对方不舒服的言论。我们应该告诉对方自己的感受,让对方删除不当的言论。另外,我们可以将对方发布的内容截图留作证据。最后,我们可以向家长和老师反映以及寻求协助,或在社群网站检举对方。
201753日,一位来自拉曼大学学院的学生因为不堪被网络霸凌而被逼上绝路,坠楼身亡。他的同学也发文促涉及者道歉。文章中,他的同学表示,该名学生因为匿名的网络霸凌言论而受到严重的伤害,但他善于隐藏自己的情绪,导致身边的朋友都看不出他遭受网络霸凌。直到有一天他向好友们坦诚他有了解自己的念头,但最后因为好友的劝解而放弃了这个念头。可是在201753日,他却萌生了同一个念头,离开了这个世界。该名学生的朋友希望社交网络使用者可以仔细思考,当自己要使用手上犹如刀子般的键盘伤害他人的时候,应该好好考虑这个行为是否正确。该名好友也希望那位网络霸凌者可以道歉并思考自己的所作所为。
一部分的人可能会认为网络霸凌的受害者很玻璃心、开不起玩笑,但言语是带有力量的,我们凡事都应该三思而后行。键盘不该是武器,键盘侠更不该是英雄,别让我们的言论成为伤害别人的一切。

挥洒汗水 , 力争第一 韩中世界杯再创新高

近期,世界足球杯赛引起全世界广泛的讨论,各国家队之间强势对决。为了让校友与学生之间切磋球技,汲取更多经验,我校的足球学会及校友联合在20221127日(星期日)举办了“2022年韩江世界杯”。地点是在本校操场。
此次的比赛分为4组,每支球队共有1516名球员,包括替补球员。每队轮流对阵并以抽签的方式进行分组,在六场比赛中获胜得分最高的其中两队晋级决赛,每场比赛时长30分钟。只要是韩江中学足球学会会员及校友都有资格参赛,而比赛所花费的费用则是由校友承担。比赛奖励方面,冠、亚、季军的得主都会各得到一枚奖牌和奖品;冠军得主则会特别获得一座奖杯。
比赛圆满结束后,主办方特别出资为所有足球队队员在食堂准备了丰富的自助餐。食物包括咕噜肉饭,炒面,各种汽水和水果等。不但能够为获胜的队伍庆祝;感谢各方的协助与合作,使比赛能够顺利进行;也能为运动员们补充营养和体力。自助餐则为此次的足球友谊赛画下了句点。
